I have an 02 trailblazer, 4.2l vortec, auto w/4wd. I noticed when I crank it up and it goes to its normal rpms, 500+, if I tap the gas while its in park, it hessitates, the voltage drops, rpms go down, but then immediately go up according to how much the pedal is pressed. It seems to be hessitating once the throttle is opened. Could this be a dirty air filter? Its almost like its choking when I press the gas, but its only for a split second, but enough to worry me
Doesn't do it when I put it in drive or reverse. Odd
