i'm trying to locate a vehicle speed sense wire on a 2007 chevy equinox for an after market navigation. i was told that it was a yellow and black wire located in the black harness of the ecm or a purple and white in the same harness, but neither of them are giving me a speed sense. can somebody please help me out?

Welcome to the Forum. I'd talk to a Tech at Your Dealer, They should know.

Rick,
You're going to have to take a raw data signal coming off one of the front wheel speed sensors, every VSS wire under the dash is via the GM CAN bus and your aftermarket nav can't make heads or tails of the signal.
