ok, I own a 2005 Chevy Cobalt. Its just the basic model. But I love the car. But yesterday I get in my car to head to work and couldn't turn the steering wheel. I never had any probalems with it until now. So I just drove it to wal mart to get some power steering fluid until I the garadge is open so I can have it checked put. Then on the way home it did it again. The power steering wasn't working and the RPMs were jumping. It would go tom 3000 RPMs to 2000 and jump right back up. The clock changed time saying it was 12. Has anyone else had any weird problems like this? Or any idea what it could be?

From the description, it sounds like You've got a loose wire somewhere. I can't think how it could affect the power steering in any way unless the car is shutting off. Did You check for a P/S leak? If You added fluid, and it went away, it could be a pressure drop. Leak?

Take it back to the dealer. Also this car has electric power steering meaning there isnt any power steering fluid. Maybe the other things are related.
