Hi all! I have a 1983 suburban, 6.2l diesel 4x4, stock diffs and axles with a 700r4 tranny. I have the stock tires on it now but my leafs are sagging and shocks need to be replaced so I figured I might as well go for the lift. I'm looking at a tough country 4inch lift, with new springs front an rear. Does anybody have any experiance/advice concerning this work? If I put 35's on it, will I need to re-gear? Thanks very much for your time!

if you want the tranny to last I would regear it. Also I know those things are slow enough stock and if you put 35's on it and don't regear it it will be crazy slow.

I would not recommend using Tuff Country lifts. They ride very rough, I know this from experience. Hence the name "tuff". Look at skyjackers, they ride great and not alot of body sway.
