I have a 95 Suburban that has a strange engine light problem. The check engine light will come on, it does not blink, just stays on. Normally the check engine light does not come on until I drive the suburban for awhile. When this happens the transmission starts to shift rough, if I turn the truck off and then restart, the check engine light will turn off and everything is fine for awhile and then might happen again. Sometimes I can go 2 weeks and it will never act up, then there are times that it will act up everytime I get in the truck. Any suggestions?

There is a problem with a parameter (signal out of bounds) of the ECM, have a shop with the proper equipment chack the system and replace the faulty component.
