I have a 2004 C5 convertible. The passanger mirror is great. The drivers side mirror shake all the time and is so bad at highway speed you can not see behind you.

I broke down and took it to my local dealer and they replaced the mirror with a new GM mirror. The new mirror is worse than the old one.

Does anyone know of recalls, or other's having this problem on C5 vette's??

Don't know if it is related or not but this sounds like the same problem that several have discussed on the Tahoe forum for the 2007 models. I think GM came up with a fix.

I have another appointment at the dealer to let the shop foreman drive and see first hand. I hope they can fix. Nothing like owning a 50,000 GREAT car with a mirror that you can not see out of!
