I got dual exuast put on my 85 half-ton for $600. This is in canada too though i dunno if it makes much difference. Shop around is my suggestion. I was quoted for almost $900 also. i just found somewhere else. o ya duals are totally worth it. i didn't need cats either what kind of laws do you have where you live

On my 1983 Chevy C-10 I had Flowmaster dual exhaust put on it. It is brand new from the engine all the way out the back and the guy even threw in chrome exhaust tips. It looks great and sounds great too. It only cost me $285

your better off buying a kit from flowmaster or summitracing.com and doing it yoruself. it really isent that hard if you start right from the maniolds. the hardest part is getting the old system off. "technicaly" i dont know if you need cats or not in texes. but you cant pass inspection without them

I dont know about the cats but I bought my 2 flowmaster 40s from summit racing for 80 a peice and then had them installed in town for 200 so i paid 360 for my true duals. The place was going to charge me 480 for the mufflers and the install at the same time and the 40s had delta flow ( I purcahed without delta b/c without sounds like 10 times better in my opinion).. My advice, buy them seprate then have them installed cheap.
