What is up with this thing i have been hearing in the news about GM and FOrd getting together?

If its true.. then i dnt mind as long as this merge is gona improve american cars rather than making them any cheaper.. hell! w a budget of $20000 id rather get a midsize car w reliability n quality instead of a larger full size car w da same price. just provin a point

Yeah, they got the talks going but the talks broke off and haven't been started up again. I wouldn't mind seeing GM and Ford merge as long as they continue making great vehicles.

That would be very bad for GM's reputation.

In Australia (where I'm from) the battle between Holden(GM) and Ford is big enough to cause the largest car race every year on Australian soil. If GM and Ford merged it would destroy this feud and make Australian car racing extremely boring.

That's just my though anyway.. would it have any effect like this in the states?

Nothing that like but you have a lot of people who love Chevy, hate Ford or love Ford and hate Chevy. Personally I like them both. I drive an F-150, but work for Chevy.
