2003 won't idle

I have a 2003 chevy cavalier. After driving the vehicle for awhile (30 minutes), the engine will stall when it supposed to go in idle. I have to keep restarting the engine at every stop sign and stop light. It does this for about 15 minutes then it starts working right again. There is no engine light on or strange sounds. I am at a lost. What do you guys think it may be.

Engine Idle Solenoid. Most Likely.

My 03 has done this a few times but not with any kind of consitency, but now my car wont start (see my post) due to what I think is a fuel pump issue. It was very scary the first time it did it as the steering wheel locks when the engine turns off at least mine did lol....

Same problem w. my beretta, do you have a 2.2L engine too? This is a common problem w. the 2.2's I guess, but can't find anybody that knows what causes it! Let me know if you get it fixed, I want to know what you did.

I'm also having trouble with my '03 cavalier. It seems to do it every few months and only when I'm at low speeds eg. in a parking lot or stoping. It seems to happen most often when I'm making a turn into a parking spot or something. My mechanic is having a hard time finding anything wrong with that car as well.

Seems to be a common problem.

My girl friends 91 Cavalier had a intermittent problem with stalling, after weeks of this I finely got lucky, it happen as she pulled in the driveway, I pulled the code out of it, TPS= Throttle Position Sensor

Why dont you go to the dealer, the dealer has the tools needed to fix it along with mechanics who work on cars just like yours all the time. Get it done right, and save money. If you take it to just any mechanic they will have to troubleshoot and fix things that most likely are not the problem, and could end up just making it worse. Get it done right first.
