Hey everyone. I'm new. I have a bit of a pickle to ask. My boyfriend's passenger mirror is broken, he bought a replacement, went to replace the mirror, but can't get the broken one off. He's got one screw left, but it's stripped. Does anyone know a good way to get the mirror off? Also, if possible can anyone tell me how to get the whole panel of which the mirror is on off? That might be our last resort. The new mirror has that entire panel, but he was trying to get just the mirror off to make it easy, but instead it's just being a pain in the arse.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I hope you get an answer to this!  I have the door panel half-removed, and seem to have run out of things to unscrew and pop loose.  Any guidance would be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply.  The part I was most interested in was the "remove the door trim panel"...  Luckily, I just became frustrated enough that I just started pulling on it to see what would happen.  It seems that there are only three screws that need to be removed.  Once these are gone, the rest is all just up to a firm steady pull in order to release the plastic "tabs".  If you pull away the outer part (near the door latch) of the panel first, you can use a flashlight to peer inside and find the next ones.  To anyone else with this problem, one word of caution... the top plastic fastener (above where the mirror is) does not pull off, the panel needs to slide up in order to become unfastened.

Thanks again!
