2001 Silverado 1500. I have a problem of the dashboard turn signal indicators illuminating. When I apply the brake, they go dim.  When I turn on a turn signal and apply the brake, the dash board turn signal goes dim, and the turn signal stops flashing (as if it is not getting enough electrical power), and the rear turn/brake lights illuminating erratically.

Anybody else experience this?

i hadmy similar situation with you but a local mechanic had advised me that a tail signal problem is usually limited to the replacement of a bulb or a cracked assembly..so i made my turn signal replacements..take also a glanced on your manual..and have a mechanical check for it.
