Hi, I just bought a 2005 Uplander and I would like to talk to other uplander owners through this forum.

It looks like I am the first one to post in this Uplander forum, I know that the Uplander is new and GM is working to get more Uplanders in dealerships.

Mine was manufactured on 12/04/2004

Hello,

I purchased a Uplander LS three weeks ago. Really happy with the the vehicle, lots of perks and a reasonable price. Sticker was $29,240.00, but after rebates and bargining with the dealer I was able to purchase it for $24,000.00. The dealer had two LS models with the exact same pricetag. I picked the Blue Granite Metallic with the Medium Gray Custom cloth interior. The 17" aluminum wheels really make it standout, and one year free OnStar is a nice bonus as well!

That's a great price Chris, I'm a retiree from GM and I had a great price as well and I had to buy by the end of December to get two $1,000 discounts; one for being a retiree and the other for trading in an Oldsmobile (Loyalty discount).

It's my wife's car and she wanted the blue granite metallic LS but they couldn't find one in the system so they found the silver LS that was in route to a dealer 80 miles away so we took it and they sent our salesman to go and pick it up so we could get it 2 days before Christmas.

GM also paid us $1,000 for a handicap hoist for the rear of the van for my wife's 4 wheel scooter.

Did you get XM radio? well if you did you have 3 months free and then the one year package is $119 bucks but if you call XM near the end of you trial period tell them tou want the $60.00 special package and you'll get one full year for 60 bucks a savings of $59.00.

I called the first week in February and they started my first year as of that date so wait until the last two weeks before your trial period is up and then call them 800.967.2346

Butch,

I didn't get the XM radio option. I was more interested in the LS easy order package (power doors, aluminium wheels, rooftop luggage and power seats). Also I got the Storage and organizer package, Deluxe DVD entertainment with 2 extra IR hearphones and 115V outlet. The last option package was the Security Package with alarm and homelink transmitters. Chevrolet really did a great job with offering so many extras at a reasonable price. Good luck with yours!

Thanks, the only thing I found that I don't like about the Uplander it's the third row seats. I had to remove one seat to put in wife's scooter and I found out that the seats each weight 75 lbs a piece and they didn't put wheels on them so you have to manhandle them.

Hi

just bought a new 2007 uplander. Like it so far except for the 2 2nd row seats, a bit tight.

also the rear 50/50 split seat are a pain in the butt. they fold down but make the back useless for cargo space.

Comments anyone please.
