Im a new member here and you guys have alot of info on here. But I cant seem to find or locate my exact problem. It worked fine from one day to the next no complications or pre-warnings. But yesterday morning I go to turn it on and all I get is non cooled air blowing from at my feet. The A/C and recycle lights on the button do not work anymore nor does the compressor kick on when I press them. I took out the climate control and used a test light on the connectors to see if I was getting voltage from the plugs (2 of them) on both sides of the unit. The one from the blower(left side) has voltage and the blower works on all speed settings. But the right side (long plug that sits sideways) I dont get any voltage nor do I know If it is suppose to have voltage. Checked all my fuses which are good and swapped out the relay and nothing. So as of right now all I get is hot air blowing at my feet. And the compressor isnt kicking on. Any suggestions?

"all of a sudden" means something broke, toasted. failed. i''d start, just to make sure, with checking voltage on a/c compressor plug, just to have that off my head. so far, it sounds like your climate control unit went boink. go to library, find chilton for your truck, and find electrical digram. you sound confident with electrical stuff, should be able to figure out what is supposed to have voltage, and what not.
