I have a 2000 suburban and i think its the 5.3 v8 and it has 160,000 miles. and my exhaust smoke is a blueish / whiteish color........... what does that mean ??? Could it be something serious ??? Thanx in advance

Check,or have compression Test,Dry+Wet.If there is diffrence in wet readings,then you need to replace,piston rings. I can say its better to rebuild the engine. If there is puff of smoke,while cranking,then you need to remove cylinder head,do valve job,and must replace valve guides/or valve guides seals. but before throwing dollars,need to find the root cause first. piston rings and valve guide seals are the only cause of oil consumption. Hope you got it.
