Ok folks. I would like to kmow what is the permanent fix for the knock sensor on a 2003, 2500hd witht the 6.0? I have replaced the sensor twice and the sensor harness once. Following instructions i have foumd on here. The light continues to come for the knock sensor. My truck does not knock. Other than the light comming on and not getting as good gas mileage. There has to be a fix. Thanks.

yeah, it''s SGMBTORT. on a serious note, let me know when you find solution. i have a member in another GM forum, he is driving himself nuts with same issue. had half of his truck replaced already, same codes keep coming up again and again.

You wash under the hood? Next time you have the upper intake off, form a 1/4 inch C shaped barrier in front of the knock sensors. Causes water to run around instead of into. Wouldnt hurt to run some FI system cleaner through to knock the high spots off the pistons.
