i have a 2001 malibu that i am using for a figure 8 racecar, and i have recently been having a problem with breaking the front spindle assys, which are aluminum. they were used form 97 to 2005 on malibu''s, grand am''s, alero''s and cutlass''s. i was wondering if anyone knows if there is a spindle assy off of another car that would be steel that would fit on it. I am sure that i will have to change some things (ie brake calipars ect.) if anyone has any suggestions it would be apprecated
