Just picked up my 2008 Chevrolet Malibu LT2.  It''s got the 4 speed transmission in it, and I noticed that when I''m coasting from 60km/h to about 50km/h and give a little bit of gas to get back up to 60km/h again, the tranny jerks a bit and then almost immediatly upshifts.  I feel it all the time because one of the roads that I have to drive on a lot (to and from work) is 60km/h and within this speed range, the tranny consistently gives a slight chuggle before upshifting.  I talked to the dealer about it, and apparently it is normal...  I''m just somewhat surprised that something like this could be normal.  I actually owned a 2005 Pontiac G6 with a 4 speed transmission as well, and never had this problem (got written off, so I got the Malibu)!  The technician actually said that the tranny in the Malibu was actually newer and better, so I''m really at a loss as to what''s up...  Asides for this, everything else in the Malibu is really great!
