Hey, guys new to this forum, just got given a 92 1500 with a 4.3L vortec, you all know the one lol

anyways, i was readin up on some info about a CAI and Supercharger setups, exhaust, the usual power adders, but i found that it can decrease power.?.?.? when not tuned properly with a laptop afterwards???

Also, i know of absolutely no "bolt on" supercharger or turbo kits for a 92 4.3L.. would it matter in anything but hood clearance if i was to put say an 02 S-10 supercharger kit on it?

One final question, it has an open rear end, was wondering about an LSD or welding it. any opinions, good, bad, ugly?
