1999 Suburban. ECM-1 Fuse blows and fuel pump does not ... - 8/18/2008 3:41:25 PM    juan10   Posts: 1 Joined: 8/18/2008 Status: offline I have a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban 5.7L. I do not hear the fuel pump come on and my ECM-1 (Injectors, PCM/VCM) fuse blows as soon as I turn they key. Is this something (the fuse blowing) that happens when the pump is bad, or do I have a short that caused my pump to go out? What can I do to begin to diagnose the problem? Thanks Post #: 1

If the fuse does not blow, the fault is the fuel pump, if not, it is something else that is on that circuit _____________________________ If you have a question, ask it in the forums.
