Guys,

I called Flowmaster the other day asking about catbacks available for my truck, and the guy told me there was only one model available. The part number is 17360. Here is the link:

http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/products...7cf797839015509

This system has a 50 Series SUV/Truck muffler.

Although, I did a little research and found this setup below:

http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/products...roducts_id=3815

It says it will fit an 06, Regular Cab, Short Wheel Base 5.3L which is what my truck is. I am just wondering why the guy didn't mention this one to me, as I would rather have the Super 40 muffler. Also, it has the dual Flowmaster embossed logo tips which makes it look a little sportier IMO. I found a vendor where I can buy this for $330 with no shipping charges. Here is a sound clip of it. Click on the one titled "99-05 GM 5.3L Duals (Part # 17392)"

http://www.justflowmaster.com/Sounds.htm

Does anyone else have this system? Comments/Suggestions?

Thanks

I will say that I don't have a 5.3 but that did sound good, I would go with that. If you still want to look aroung call summit racing (1-800-230-3030) I know Borla sounds good, I haven't heard one of their systems on a 5.3 yet though.

I heard the Borla on a 94 Silverado with a 350, it had a real low tone to it that I liked, but the link you porvided sounded good too. Personally if I had what you did I would go with the link, cause I know what that sounds like and it sounds good. But I will say it is not what I want and what you want, it is your pickup.

My 4.8 has a borla and it has a deep tone to it, but I've heard a few flowmasters and they sound just as good.
