''97 Monte Carlo Camshaft Sensor - 7/20/2008 12:44:27 PM    Silkwood012   Posts: 2 Joined: 7/20/2008 Status: offline I had a diagnostic done on my monte carlo and they said it was the camshaft sensor. I purchased the part and thought I could change it myself.  After looking at the motor I am a bit confused on  how to change it. Can anyone offer any kind of help as to how to change it? Also, if I take the intake manifold off will I need a seal or gasket? Any help would be appreciated as I am a single mom. I used to do motor''s with my dad when I was a kid, but it''s been to long to remember... Post #: 1
