I have an Express 2002 5.7 extended cargo van.  It has 80,000 miles on it and my son is getting ready to take it on a cross country road trip.  He will be covering over 6,000 miles in 3 weeks.  I don''t want him to have any issues on his trip, so I want to do some preventative maintenance.  I want to change all the belts and hoses and was wondering if anyone has done this and if you could offer any tips.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Belt wouldnt hurt. Remove air cleaner for access. Hoses will be fine.
