I just got done rebuilding my engine for my 92 silverado, it''s a ext cab 4X4 with a 5.7 tbi engine code K. and when taking it apart I didn''t pay attention to were my battery ground cable was hooked to on the block. It''s the last thing beofre I can start the truck to adjust the valve lash.

I believe it gets grounded to one of the bolt on the radiator neck coming out of the engine.

I would find a bolt that goes directly to the block itself. If you go to the stat housing, then the voltage has to travel through the stat bolt, to the intake, through the intake bolts, and then finally to the block.
pull a bolt out, or find an empty threaded hole on the block, clean it up real good and blast it in

I would get a cable that splits to 2. Ground one below A/C compressor bracket (factory location) & ground other near starter.
