I'm working on my girlfriends Monticarlo z34. The oddball is when i replace the brake master cylinder, the push rod is non adjustable. I need it to be longer. What is the best way to deal with this? try to buy a longer one, or just start adding washers in the back? And the brake doesn't start until the pedal is halfway, and it seems to have a blank spot there before it start moving the brake fluid. Very firm pedal action, but no reponse until it hit the blank spot, then it start working. It is also slower at returning to initial position. I'm pretty sure it's the pushrod is too short, but correct me if i'm wrong. THANK YOU!
