Have a 04 cavalier a/c is not blowing cold air when  I''m stopped  works fine when  cruising down the road.  Thanks for any help.

Is the engine cooling fan on when the A/C is running.  It should be.  The A/C requires air to go through the coils to cool the R-134. As you drive the air would go through the coils.  If the fan is not running then wouldn''t work when the car is sitting.  The fan should always run when the A/C is on so check it and if that is the prob.  Then the fan or fan thermo is not functioning.
