Hi All,

My first post. I have a 2005 2500HD Duramax. Love it - but hating the price of diesel!!

Anyway - need to replace the drivers side DRL bulb. Any tips on how?? I look behind the light and it''s practically solid! I can''t seem to get to the back of the light.

Thanks in adavacne for any help.

~Mike

On mine I need to remove the headlight above to get down behind the DRL and there is a rubber panel there you can bend out.  All you do is remove the two pins that hold the headlight assy in place and pull out, try that.

Thanks.

Do I remove the headlight assembly from the front of the headlight, or the rear?

Should be on the top you will see two aluminum pins, you turn them out and pull them up out of the headlight assy and the entire assy pulls out forward.

WOW - - that was so simple and logical that I missed it!!

That was probably the easiest fix I''ve ever done.

Thank you - - I would have been scratching my head for hours wondering how the hell to get to the back of that assembly!!!!!!
