Have an 03 S-10 4-cyl, auto.  Runs fine, but radio display and speedometer/gauges blank when running through tunnel or after dark.  Odometer remains bright.  Everything is bright during daylight.  Any suggestions??  Thanks!

There is a dimmer next to the headlight switch. Roll it upward until the interior lights turn on, then bring it back one notch. That will put the gauges at full brightness. If that doesn''t work, let me know, we''ll go to the next diagnosis. When the Automatic Headlights turn on (Daytime running lights turn off), the brightness of the dash lights become adjustable with the dimmer wheel except for the gear selector and the odometer.

That was it.  Can''t believe I didn''t check the obvious after the neighbor borrowed my truck the other day.  Went right into the troubleshooting mind-set because the radio''s sound was also cutting out intermittently on every station when I got it back.  I assumed the issues were linked and started with the constant symptoms first.  Thanks for making me re-learn rule one of troubleshooting and check all operator settings.  I''m embarrassed, but appreciate your patience.  Thanks again!
