I would like to find a website or other provider that can identify parts that are shared across the GM product line. Specifically, I am trying to locate a tool kit for my 2008 GMC Canyon. This kit contains the lug wrench, jack handle and three-piece extension rod used to lower the spare tire. I have the GMC part numbers. I know that this kit is common to the Chevrolet Coloroado. Is it shared by the Hummer H3? I believe that this is a common chassis, in term of dimension in the spare tire area. Is it the same as a Tahoe or Yukon? This sort of information would allow me to search for the parts across a much larger pool of available parts in area salvage yards. TIA

I doubt it will be the same as many other vehicles. You have to have different part #s for the kits depending on the lug nut size.
