My 2002 Tahoe just started suffering from what seems like a central locking issue. When driving along (seemingly on bumpier surfaces), it sounds like the central locking is repeatedly and rapidly actuating again and again. Its like when the locks are already in the "locked" position and you keep pressing the "lock" button. The problem lasts for several seconds, then stops for a while, then comes back. Any ideas what might be wrong ?

Possibly a bad switch or more likely the "lock" wire shorting to ground.

The conductor that the switch pulls to ground.
