1996 Silverado BTSI - 6/30/2008 4:58:31 AM    mbtn4cooks   Posts: 2 Joined: 6/30/2008 Status: offline I have a 1996 Silverado that wouldn''t shift out of park, someone told me I could just remove the brake switch or whatever you call it and just drive it like that.  Well I did but without the switch I have no brake lights....So my question is what exactly is this brake switch called is it the BTSI?  Where can I buy one?  Or can I put this one back in and bypass it or override it somehow so that I can shift my truck?  Thanks in advance!
