I''m trying to find a solution to hooking up my iPod to the stereo in my Chevy Cavalier or replacing it. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no AUX in on the factory stereo, nor is there a CD changer input, which would allow me to install an AUX input converter. I''ve considered installing an aftermarket stereo, however, I''d need an $80 adapter to do so.

So, could I install a 2004 (or other year) Chevy Cavalier stereo, which I believe has an AUX input on the back, without having problems (e.g., losing the chime/warning sounds or other problems)?
