My ''05 Silverado squeaks everytime I turn the steering wheel to the right. I have to be moving (foward or reverse) for it to happen. It''s only when I turn right. Any ideas???

does it right in the steering wheel, right? welcome to the club. my 2000 does same. that''s besides having all other kinds of squeakes and thumps and noises, yours ain''t old enough to be there quite yet. i had intermedeiate steering shaft replaced, because of the clunk, not squeak, did not difference. try getting a straw between the airbag housing and plastic column cover and spraying some slicone inside. i, personally, don''t want to mess with this as it''s too close to all the good airbag mechanisms they have in the steering wheel housing.
