I know that the Vehicle Speed Sensor wire goes to the back of the radio for the Auto Volume and that it also goes to the plug under the dash where the diagnostic instrument plugs in, but I am not sure what wire (color) it is on the back of the radio nor do I know what wire (color) or position it is in the plug under the dash.

I need to know to wire a police radar and camera system for a police department.

Can somebody please provide this information?

I would prefer to know what wire (color) and position in the plug due to the fact that it is more accessable.

Thanks in advance!

GM hasn''t put a raw vss signal at DLC for as long as I can remember. You can get the vss at the radio as long as you have an amplifier. It''ll be in the brown connector, Pin E, dk grn\wht
