Replacement battery - 6/18/2008 3:10:52 PM    BMoTahoe   Posts: 98 Joined: 3/24/2008 Status: offline For those of you who are looking for a GOOD replacement battery for the sub-standard factory installed unti, I checked with a mechanic this morning, who has more ASE certifications than you can shake a stick at. He showed me his Hoe and under the hood, was an Optima yellow top. Optima part # 34/78-980. Battery was $159.98 at Advance Auto. He installed his the second week he had his Hoe and hasn''t had any rundown problems at all. You can bet your money I''m heading there tomorrow morning. I had one in my 2000 Hoe and NEVER had a problem with it. Too bad I can''t say the same for this factory installed battery.
