Hello,  got an interesting one here.  New 2007 Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew.  Has Leer Canopy to match.  Recently wired in a Tenkonsha Prodigy that I had(2006).  The brake controller works fine.  Now when the prodigy is plugged in the LEER LED blinks when the truck is on or off.  The LED does light up when the brakes are pressed.  If I unplug the prodigy the LED works fine.  Suggestions?

FYI to those interested.  Spoke with Tekonsha directly.  I wasn''t the only one.  Turns out if your canopy has an LED brake light and the installers splice in after the BC unit it will flash.  The harness for the canopy must be wired in before the unit.
