Hello
My name is Berend Smit and I�m from the Netherlands. In 3 weeks I�m coming to the USA to make a road trip. We start in Los Angeles and then drive to New York. I want to buy a suburban in LA and drive with that car to New York and then ship it back to the Netherlands. Does anyone know how I can get a temporary license so that I can drive with that car for a month.

I'm not sure how it works in the USA, but if I were to go to say, UK, as long as I had an American drivers license and a passport it would suffice.

i have seen that most DMV's here in California have a temporary license that they give most of the time showing them the license that you have from your hometown
