Hello I've got an 05 chevy duramax and love it. I've put a cold air kit on it, 4" exhaust (turbo back) and I've chipped it (1st one was a edge and the one I have now is a bully dog) both impresive. With the chip on I get about 18mpg (canadian) and when I put it on stock I get 24mpg (that is actual the computer is way out). I was wondering if anyone has tried anyother things to try and get better fuel economy. Thank you Prairieboy

Diesels must be good on fuel, Today I saw this dude at the gas station filling his big boat with gas and was just letting his big Dodge diesel run while filling the boat. Of course you could hear the big dodge idle at 1000 yards. Does it really cost more to start a diesel up than to just let it idle for about 20 minutes? From the sound of the trucks idle, bet he had it turned up so it would roll some coal.
