I wanted to chime in about my 1977 Impala that is still running great even after 31 years. My car currently has only 71,7?? total miles on the odometer. I bought the car in 03 with only 24K miles, did a brake pads and shoes change and had to punch out the backing plate on the drum brakes to get to the adjuster wheel. Plus when my grandparents bought it in 02 the car still had the original FR-15 tires on it, of course they were in bad shape but still would hold air pressure. So I know this mileage is accurate. Not bad for this vintage. I have over 25 Life Time Warranty parts and/or services on this car. Future plans for this car include repainting, making a “Sleeper” car if I can get an LT1 or LS9 engine and tranny. If not I will drop in another 305 and change out the TH200 to a TH350 tranny. Any other Impalas here as old or older than mine?
