I have a 2003 silverado and changed the battery last week and know I noticed that only my defrost air works. Has anyone had this problem before and how do you find out how to fix it?

Welcome to the forum!!! It maybe the resistor on the back of the blower motor, that seems to be a common issue.

Drop your glove box and inspect the wiring near the left side of the opening. Check to make sure it sn't chaffed against the steel support. You can try removing the HVAC controls from the vehicle for 10-20 seconds. reinstall it with the key in the OFF position. Start the truck and allow it to run for 60 seconds without touching the HVAC controls. The first minute will self calibrate the hvac controls
