Today I found a couple of coolant drips under my truck. Both drips end up at about the same place on the bottom of the flywheel housing but they come down to there from slightly different places. One comes out of the little dime/nickel-sized hole in bottom of the flywheel housing and the other one runs down the flywheel housing between the flywheel housing and the oil pan. Help please... Thanks. (btw, it's the 4.3L V6)

Might be your intake gasket leaking down the back of the motor

I looked and looked and couldn't find the source, so I took it to the shop and it turned out to be the freeze plug above the starter. Cost $77.00 parts and labor to have fixed. I thought that was a good deal. I'll be keeping an eye on it for a few weeks to make sure the problem is 100% fixed.

Yea thats a good catch by your mechanic, and probably a pretty good deal too.
