Proper engine break in - 5/20/2008 8:55:13 AM    chevychic4 Posts: 7 Joined: 5/11/2008 Status: offline I just bought a 2008 Chevy Aveo last weekend and wanted to know what some of you recommend for the proper break in procedure for the engine. _____________________________ It takes 8,460 bolts to assemble an automobile, and one nut to scatter it all over the road. 2008 Chevy Aveo Post #: 1

When you purchase a new vehicle there will be a section in the owners manual about it. Then engine is broken at the factory before it is installed so the need for a 500 mile oil change is now gone. Also varying your speed and not maintaining a steady speed are gone as well.
