Has anyone experienced this?

Whenever I accelerate pretty hard (passing or getting up with traffic), it would pull to the right very hard and i could hear the tires kind of skidding somehow while it is this way until i have to slam on the brakes and then the ABS would kick in while there is a big bang, then everything would be back to normal.

I am just not sure if the rear axle is twisted out of alignment or its the front wheel pointing into the wrong direction until the hard brake.

It could be one of the sway bars or any other bars that is loose/sliding in and out.

Any ideas or solutions you might have would be greatly appreciated.

Check for broken motor mounts. Have someone rev the engine while u look under the hood for excessive movement.

Motor mounts and the transmission mount too, you may have to get under the truck and lift (push) up the tail stock of the tranny (engin off)and see if the mount is split or cracked. Being a 99 and given that you tend to get on the throttle I bet the mounts are shot...

If you do have a bad mount(s) be sure to replace them all, both motor and the transmission mounts.

Here's the sad part, if you wait too long to replace the motor mounts (if they are bad) the result could be replacing half the engine if the mount should break away. The big bang sounds like broken motor mounts, but the tires skidding, the truck pulling and the ABS kicking in, believe it or not, are signs of a tire being under-inflated.

So far, i did alot of inspecting last night. All motor mounts are intact, a little dry rotten but no movement at all. same with transmission mount.

We tried to make it happen again but it was harder to get it to happen this time. I realized it does it especially when it is colder out (like one raining morning to work when it was abt 48 out, it did that easily as i accelerated onto the freeway).

I got it to happen again when I accelerated hard making a right turn and then drive straight. It just pulled right and then slowly went back to normal without bang or anything.

I am starting to think its the front halfshafts or cv joints? When the front lifts a little, I would think it would slide out (extend as the front lifts) and then gets stuck for a second before it slides back in due to old grease. I would guess when its colder, the grease is harder which makes it more likely to happen. Does this make sense? It feels like it is the problem. I am not sure which side, maybe passenger side. I have inspected the boots but it looks sealed but grease could be dry inside.

Might be a sticking caliper, ie the piston sticks and doesn't release the pad.  Just a thought.
