Pulling the fuse will not disable them. You'll have to go the resistor route. Its the only way to fool the BCM into thinking its day.

I dunno Brent, when I pulled the fuse and put it in drive, the DRL's didnt come on anymore? I wasnt trying to disable the auto headlights, just the daytime running lights. Do I still have to do the resistor thing? Im not sure how to do it on my truck. Somebody had posted about it before several months ago and it seems like they had said it was just a fuse, but I couldnt find the post. UGH, I knew this was going to be a pain. So what about if you just leave the DRL's on. What will it do to the ballasts, people say you shouldnt but Ive never really heard why. I know running around with your headlights on all day and then at night too will decrease the life of the arc tube, but is that it, or does it hurt the ballast too. Any thoughts?
