I am thinking of selling my silverado before they are only worh scrap. with gas going to 5 a gallon soon, I see many car lots not even taking in some types of cars on trades. My silverado is nada worth 9500 for an 03 4x4 with 100k. It is in exclent condtion and I have always kept it up. I put a topper on it painted to match, just put on two new wheel bearings. What would you guys sug. for selling a truck? Is there any interest in them? I would think there may be some interest from people who need to work in construction. But with construction dropping maybe that is looking out the window.

Big vehicles are getting harder and harder to sell, my parents went to trade in my moms 03 tahoe (when it was bought it had everything, leather seats, 6 cd, nav screen, air ride suspension, etc etc) kept in perfect condition, with 80k miles and they offered $6500 on a trade in, *with* aftermarket chrome 20's (we had the stocks as well, no price difference between the stock wheels or aftermarket) that was a few months ago, I doubt anything has changed.  At the time, their offer was $5-6k under KBB value, which you could check out I guess, but there isnt much of a market right now I dont think.
