What do you prefer/recommend?

I have a 383 vortec, 425hp/450tq...

Oh yeah, sorry. Carb. I am new to this. Anyway, after talking with some tech folks at a few different place, I/we decided to go with a Edelbrock Thunder series 650. I'll let ya know how it goes.

What kind of vehicle is this on anyway? What tranny are you running, rearend, all that usual stuff........

It's in my 1988 Caprice Hearse. Stock Tranny and rear end (temporarily) with 2400 rpm Stall convertor

I've heard go Holley for the power and Edelbrock for economy...

I personally am running Edelbrock now but I have also used Holley in the past and I have no complaints from both.
