I have a 97 s10.  2 wheel drive, 5 speed, extended cab.  the
guy who had it before me lowered it a few inches.  i have a few
questions.

1.  i took it to someone to talk about raising it back up to stock
level.  he said i need to get stock coils for the front and stock
u bolts for the back.  someone else told me you can raises the
front up with just a ratchet.  if i get the parts they will cost
me about 400 to get from a dealership.  anyone know where to get
them for cheaper.

2.  the way the truck is lowered now the shocks are messed
up.  when i drive around a curve and hit a bump the tires sort of
come off the ground and i feel the truck slide laterally.  ive
heard i might need shorter shocks beacue the truck has been
lowered.  do I and if i riase it back up what type of shocks will
i need.  thanks

I had an 94 S10.... and lowered it  3inches in front and rear............and then raised it back up.......... you will need the stock size coils and (possibly...front spindles)..depending on what lowering componets  that were used ~ .... and stock sized shocks....in the front and in the rear... you would need........ stock size shocks...... and stock length... u Bolts........... ~

Good Luck on Raising your S10 back to stock ride height!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
