I have a 2003 S-10 ZR-2.  I wish to disconnect the DRL's.  I tried to pull the resistor from the fuse box and also tried just bending the "86" prong and reinstalling.  These lights still come on.  I am tired of pushing "dome overide" to shut them off.  What can I do????

That should disable the DRLs, but retain the AHLs (Automatic function). I have no idea why it didn't.
