I,m hoping someone can help I have a 2002 Suburban 5.3L 4WD.  If I run it for a couple hours where it gets real good and hot it will start to sputter like its running out of fuel,  I took it to a local mechanic and he couldnt find anything wrong because he couldnt get it to act up the pressure from the fuel pump was good.  It ran fine for about 2 months.  I took it to Orlando drove fine until I got there and parked in a parking lot for about 20min with it running and when I went to back up it cut out on me I had to let it sit for about an hour then it started back up.  I took it to the Chevy dealer they got it to act up but dont know what it is there are no codes showing up they said it could be the cadiletic converter but they were only about 80% on that.  Has anyone here have any ideas?

I bet it's your cat. My buddies jeep had the same exact problem, so he drilled out the cat and it ran fine again. It was all clogged up with crap. Put your hand by the exhaust when it gets warm and see if  it seems like enough exhaust is coming out. But i bet it's your cat.
