The only boycott of any kind that can help at all is NOT to use any Exxon Mobil stations.  As the largest oil co. they would have to lower prices to get people back in and the rest of the companies would have to follow suit to compete with the big boy.  But they are so damn big it takes way longer than a day, I never use them so hopefully more people will jump on board.

Maybe I'm the bias one here but a boycott of getting gas will only hurt us more in the long run because company's can deal with boycotting because they know its a high demand.  So we boycott one day and it doesn't hurt the major oil companys because they are seeing record sales now because gas is something we need.

It really needs to be government controlled. The oil companies have become a sort of Monopoly. There used to be about 10 different oil companies that were independant of each other and now there are 4 main oil companies and three of them are allied with each other.

You mean like Microsoft? You know they are using their monopoly over the computer world, and all the money that goes with it to oust Yahoo! into selling out.

That is the problem with our government, they let big business do whatever they want because it puts money in the governments pocket, but they sctrutinize small business to the point that it can never get anywhere.
