During last week's NUMB3RS TV show, the FBI's black GMT-900 'burb took off from a dead stop and actually spun the wheels. So how did they do this?

That's an old trick, they put about 90 PSI in the rear tires. We did this in high school to make our buddies think we had a hot engine under the hood. Stunt drivers do the same for effect.

With the torque mgmt system, I'm not sure that would work. It's really a slug w/ a full throttle start.

A little vegetable oil on the tread probably helps too. I think I heard somewhere that if you pour bleach on them and spin them you can get a good smoking out of them. I saw this really cool trick in a cartoon one time and I’m pretty sure I could duplicate it….
